Meet the dedicated coaches who are committed to the growth and development of our young athletes.

Mark Potter

8U HEAD COACH

Mark initially joined the Warriors organization as head coach of the 8U team in the summer of 2024 and currently serves on the Warrior's board as Secretary. Mark is passionate about coaching youth baseball and is dedicated to developing the skills of his players and instilling their love of the game. In addition to his involvement with the Warriors, Mark is also a board member of the Hughesville Little League and has coached in that organization since 2019. Mark is a committed coach, dedicated not only to creating a winning team on the field, but also to teaching the fundamentals of competition, excellence, sportsmanship, and fair play both on and off the field. Mark and his wife Emily have two sons, both of whom play for the Warriors, and are both active members of the community and their church.

Since 2020, I have been deeply involved with the Warriors Organization, initially as Head Coach and more recently stepping into the role of President in 2024. My coaching journey has been enriched by my prior experience with Hughesville Little League, where I have honed my skills and developed a strong philosophy centered around baseball fundamentals. I am truly passionate instilling a love for the game in our young athletes and providing them with the necessary tools to succeed both on and off the field. My commitment is to ensure that every player feels supported and prepared for their future in baseball, fostering not just their athletic abilities but also their personal growth.
